Or success here on out will depend on if the bats start to come alive.

our best shot is today...i really want to see the beavers play with their backs up against the wall in a winner take all situation. They have yet to play that way.

obviously you do not follow college baseball or you knowledge of the subject is lacking
So I will make it easy for you
read below
McDonald joined the Orioles' starting rotation in 1990, and in his first major league start on July 21, he threw a complete game shutout against the Chicago White Sox. At the end of the season, he finished eighth in Rookie of the Year voting, with the award going to catcher Sandy Alomar, Jr. McDonald would go on to spend seven seasons with the Orioles, before leaving as a free agent in 1996 to join the Milwaukee Brewers. He never led his league in a major category, but ranked among the top 10 at various times in categories such as complete games, wins, ERA, WHIP, and strikeouts. McDonald was the first #1 draft pick to win his first three starts in Major League history, a feat which has been equalled by Gerrit Cole.[4]
Peterson was drafted by the Brewers as the 13th overall pick in the first round of the 1997 MLB Draft after a collegiate career at Stanford University. He made his major league debut in 1999. After that season, he did not again play in the majors until 2001. He retired from the game after 2002. Upon retirement, Peterson joined ESPN as an analyst on College, Major League and Little League events. Since 2003, Peterson has covered the College World Series, Little League World Series, and Major League playoffs. Peterson now works as an analyst for the SEC Network.
so thus the Big Ben and Peterson reference
both of these did not do well at all in pros

BTW, none of that proves that Lange doesn't have heart.

Impossible for me to be impartial on this one

BASE hits and minimize (3 or less) walks - 70%
Pop ups, dribblers, and more than 4 walks - 20%
Prediction: 2 Tiger homers today - hope we have some base runners on. Lange deals through 7 with 9 K's
Tigers win 6-4

That game the other day was a fluke. I give us at least 50% chance today. Winning two in a row against OSU will be really tough though.

I agree the blowout was a fluke, but I think it just reemphasized how good Oregon State is. It's going to be tough to beat them in consecutive games, but LSU has a puncher's chance.

30% today
3.4% to advance to CWS finals

60 % today. I say our bats are going to be hot against a fastball pitcher.
35-40% tomorrow due to pitching.

But, I think the blowout was a fluke and we have about 60% chance with Lange.
Honestly, I think today is the tough one. Lange is one of the best to wear an LSU uni but Thompson is a better pitcher. They have the advantage today. If we're going wholestaff vs. wholestaff tomorrow they still have the advantage, but I think we'll play loose and just have to get the bats going. I'd say 30 percent today. 45 percent tomorrow.

Without being a "homer", what chance do you give us to win today?
