Sure, why not? Let's withdraw from the tournament, and alienate an entire fan base.
Obviously I am being sarcastic (a disclaimer for certain people who take everything literally)... Withdrawing from the tournament is essentially surrendering. It would not make a bold statement. It wouldn't hurt anyone but us to miss out on the tournament, so what kind of statement is it supposed to make?
Nah, winning the whole thing, in the face of adversity, would make an enormous statement. Just making a deep run would make a huge statement. Let's shoot for that, instead of bowing out like quitters. This team is about the furthest thing from a bunch of quitters as you can get. They will play, and I think they'll play their best ball of the year.

frick no. When they come calling for us and punish us for what went down we have to accept it. But if we can go beat that arse and keep some of these other mfers that cheat from winning another title than we most definitely should.
