re: With LSU losing 30 players, but landing No. 1 TP group, what's a realistic goal for 2025?

It's really hard to gage-- hopefully better than last year, but with 5 very challenging road games, I'm not putting my hopes up too high...

The ole CBK Special: 9-3

I think the opener is going to pretty much tell us how the season is going to go. If we drop another season opener it probably will be a CBK Special. I'll actually have a decent amount of hope if we could start the season off 5-0, beating Clemson, Florida, and Ole Miss.

We will likely at the very least be 10-2 and playing in the SEC championship next year. If we win that game, we make the playoffs with, I believe, a decent chance to make it to the championship game. I don’t know if we can win that game or not. Depends on who we play and what they look like.

10-2 regular season. We beat Bama in Tuscaloosa this year. Probably drop 2 of any of either Ole Miss, SC, A&M or Florida

We have an unbelievable roster that Kelly and company have assembled. We’re making the Final 4 at least. Possibly winning a title.

Objectively look at the rosters out there and tell me whose roster is definitely better than LSU’s.

Go back to every coach has had in its history and shiw me where there wasn’t a coach that had this happen. Even in 2019, albeit not a loss, you scratched your head in the game versus Auburn. Joe Burrow figured that out. 2011 had the redo but we had several games where LSU had to claw to get back. Saban in 2003 to UF. Every single one of them were subject to it.

BK had it for 12 years. 8-4 Texas Bowl, unranked, and $100M.

I know right. BK had that same schedule for 12 years there.

And played for a natty and went to the playoffs 3 or 4 times didn’t he ?

He’s also in the process of rebuilding LSU from a dumpster fire and won 10, 10 and 9 games playing the sec in 3 years,

Some of yall are so incredibly delusional the way you knight for people like Marcus freeman and shite on the program you claim to support

Next year's team will be much better than last years team. We will make the playoffs. We will have a chance to win every game we play. There is no reason why we won't. I'm looking forward to next season bigtime.

You’re wasting your time. The idiots you’re talking to are oddly committed to defending the imperfections of literally everyone else except the LSU coach. Strangely, they look for reasons to criticize the coach of the school they claim to support.

I guess it’s either ignorant swamp dwellers with inferiority complexes, trolls, or youthful liberal cucks who think they’re being edgy by being contrarian

I would love to win them all but I think 10-2 & a playoff spot is acceptable.

Anything less than 10-2 should lead to some serious conversations in the AD’s office. It won’t but it should

No disrespect to those transferring; they are looking out for themselves and I don’t blame them. And no disrespect to you but it’s obvious you’re a casual with your “Omg! We lost 30 players!”

If you weren’t a casual you’d know 95 percent of these transfers left because they knew there was no future for them at LSU so they are headed to smaller and weaker programs where they know they can start.

This roster has been strengthened immeasurably by these 19 incoming transfers.
