Kwon's a Pro-Bowl Middle LB in the league bro. Are you suggesting he couldn't have done that at LSU?
Now you're changing the OP's argument and it ain't working. Time to just give up that facts in the original post were wrong. The OP had pic of Jones, Beckwith, Riley and Alexander followed by the comment, "4 future NFL starters and two different pro bowlers at the linebacker and this genius continued to start this dude," followed by a pic of Welter.
No one will ever know whether Kwon would've been a better MLB at LSU than the starters. To argue either that is pure speculation. First, he wasn't the same guy physically in '13 and '14 that he is in the pros. Second, don't forget who his position coach was at the time....Chavis. I've already agreed that I thought lots of CJC's talent evaluations wrong. Let's look at the rosters again and see who were the staring MLBers in '13 and '14. So now you're arguing that Kwon Alexander should've started at MLB in '13. But guess who was the starting MLBer that year....Lamin Barrow. Barrow's not had the pro career Jones has had, but he had a pretty good sr. year in '13. Yes, CJC had Welter as the starting MLB in 2014, only to be replaced by Beckwith part way through the season. So now you're arguing that Jones should've started ahead of Beckwith in '14?

Riley was behind Kwon Debo and beckwith.

actually, Barrow was the starting Will. Welter started at Mike in '13, which I felt was Chavis' biggest mistake. IMO, he should've rolled out Barrow at Mike, flanked by Kwon and Debo.
that said, I didn't think Welter was all that bad in '13. but we could've had better at that MLB spot.

With Kwon & Debo making the Pro Bowl, lets remember the defensive guru John Chavis
The more egregious aspect of these overlooked players is that they were overlooked by the Saints, who need a lot of help at LB.

The Miss State game 2014 if you get a chance to re-watch you’ll see they weren’t even blocking him. They knew he couldn’t affect the game so they totally ignored him and blocked everyone els which created huge holes.

Pretty sure Duke Riley was on the same teams and played behind DJ Welter and Lamar Louis in addition to the other guys you listed. Chavis used a lot of Nickel and had 4 down lineman with just 2 LBs so Riley never really made it on the field.
Aranda developed Riley into the player he is. Chavis would have turned Riley into Taj Jones 2.0. Tweener LBs had no role in Chavis defense.

Miles still was the HC. I don't think Chavis was great, but he is smarter then Miles.
That sounds like a call Miles would have made. Miles is straight up dumb.
Some of you clowns are obsessed.
After the 14 beat down by Aub, Les called out the defense for playing poor. Prob was the only time in his tenure I heard that. Next game beckwith and Adams started. Then played the rest of the season and the d finished up well. Top3 in the sec.
Most likely scenario is Les stepped in.
