Yeah I'm pissed he was fired. Especially in light of what everyone involved knew was going to ultimately happen.
But I've explained the process and what would like happen, literally since this first broke in 2019. Now, it's actually playing out the way I predicted, it is funny watching people tell me I'm still wrong.

I don’t give a frick what anyone says. If Wade goes to Ole Miss that would be a gut punch to this fan base and would also leave a stain on Woodward’s legacy here.

So if the GF and the "someone" connected to a player don't want to be identified or participate, then they really don't have much.
Again, if the NCAA could have supported these allegations, he would get a show cause. If he doesn't get hit with a show cause, you can go ahead and admit I was correct.

The real winner in this deal is LSU.
Wade was a weak coach (good recruiter, albeit not an honest one). He needed to go. His failure to hide his chicanery got him removed from coaching (hopefully, for a long time). He's gone from LSU and won't ever be back. This is a win for LSU.
Only his sycophantic "idiot savant" fan base still moans his demise.
ETA: 1. Whether his dismissal was just doesn't matter at this point. 2. I have no animosity towards Wade. It is his fawning "I hope he drops trou" fan base that is so annoying.

elllsssssuuuu was right all along, as I suspected.
IF WW does NOT get a show clause from the NCAA, SW destroyed our MBB program for NO GOOD REASON. That would make me sucker than I already am since WW got fired.

The paying out of the wife's bank account was for the former girlfriend of one of his former player's when he was coaching at VCU. It had NOTHING to do with LSU or any of it's players. If you are going after Wade, at least be precise in what you are saying.

Texts messages to and from Will Wade’s phone discussing him being black mailed aren’t information. They’re documents.
If you think they can’t use those, you’re wrong. If you think they can’t use bank statements you’re wrong.
Also while the Gf’s name was redacted from what we’ve seen, everyone is named in the allegations.

Then why no show cause?
They can use the bank account, but they cannot connect that payment to a player (thus a violation). Who is gong to confirm that the recipient of the funds was indeed connected to a recruit. You’re missing a step on the process.

Apparently Will didn't make many friends in the coaching and press fraternity as they dogged him like a dog with fleas for almost his entire stay at LSU. Maybe his real crime was outplaying the old, big dogs at their own game of subterfuge.
