1Apparently Penny Hardaway, HC of Memphis University Mens basketball team paid the family of top 2019 recruit, James Wiseman, for moving expenses to move from Nashville to Memphis.

11,000 bucks to move across the state. Seems like a lot. But not the issue. The issue is that Memphis has ignored this players eligibility and he has played anyway. Yea, I know he got a court order, but if this happened at LSU the media would be all over LSU and Wade. My question is what sanctions does Memphis face when the ruling that he is ineligible is upheld? Shouldn't this be non-compliance? Can Memphis face probation and post season ban for playing him anyway? Hardaway won't care if they do, he is bucking for an NBA job and will probably get one next season. The hypocrisy and bias in college basketball is REAL!

ESPN reported earlier 2011 but that must have been a typo because now it’s saying 2017. And it was when penny was coaching high school.
In general the NCAA is a shame. Who gives a shite if this kids family got 11k for him to play high school basketball?
