He definitely will make the tournament again NC state roster is night and day better from last year. How many years in a row has will wade made the tournament ? Meanwhile matt has yet to have one single appearance at lsu and has finished near the bottom of the sec 2 out of the 3 seasons with amazing conference records of (2-16 , 9-9 , 3-15)
Let’s compare that to Willy wade who has made the tournament 6 years in a row now . While winning his conference 2 years in a row while only losing a total of 2 games in those 2 years lol. Will wade is a good basketball coach … MM is not

The NCAA didn’t care, Cal and his little cabal went after Wade and kind of forced their hand. But you’re right, the people who started this were never going to let it go. Still a 10 game suspension was nothing to suffer compared to what we ended up with.

Sweet 16 run sounds incredible at this point. All any coach needs to do is make the tourney consistently and he will keep 75% of the fan base happy.

LSU is currently a bottom 5 P4 program. An essentially dead program.
Wade is going to have NC State be a factor soon, maybe even this year. He’s the perfect alpha personality for CBB.
It would’ve been fun to see the budding rivalry between Wade and Oats but for some reason, LSU loves self-sabotage and went with the Ned Flanders option instead.
Anyone who says that Wade isn’t a better coach than McMahon is 100% lying to themselves.
