If Wade was here with the same budget that McMahon has, the results would be similar. Now, if you want to argue that the charismatic Wade would be more successful in raising funds for NIL, then yeah, I think he could duplicate the success he had when he was here.
Sir, please don't bring common sense on here. Wade is the greatest coach ever, and the only reason the blue chips haven't snagged him is that he is waiting for LSU.

McMahon has signed recruiting classes ranked higher than some of Wade’s LSU recruiting classes. He is not the McMan for this job!

Not sure who is okay with just making the tournament when a ton of meh teams make it every year. I remember the days when LSU went deep into the tournament and would have won it if Rudy Macklin hadn't sheared the skin off his finger in Dale Brown era.

I'd be just "making the tournament" as a start since idk, we are 12-29 in SEC play over the last 2.5 years and that has been the norm outside of Wade and a handful of brady and JJ years.
Like what the frick is wrong with you people.
Our program is being run by clowns.

LSU is run like it’s the biggest public high school on earth.

You don't even know who they are playing
Kenpom sure does. They rated McNeese's OOC strength of schedule as the 23rd most difficult in the land, and LSU's at #338!
That does it. I'm officially quitting to follow LSU MBB until it dismisses McMahon.

Cray thing is, that NIT year was his best coaching job. Took one of the worst P6 teams in the sport and had a weird tournament resume by the end of the year. They had some huge upsets but also got beat by some bad schools. If they just beat 2 of the teams they definitely should’ve beaten they would have been in the tournament that season too.

Wade wouldn’t have the same budget. You know why?
He was a winning coach and committed to the program. Wade had people motivated and wanting to win. He managed to bring in top talent and get boosters to pay for it.
MM not having budget is because he doesn’t have a winning track record and he isn’t exciting

Not really, I don't really wonder why - I know why,

Look, I love Wade. But you can’t ignore the NIL equation in this. He’s got $1M plus roster at McNeese.
Ask yourself how he did that? I know. Cause he's Will frickING WADE!!
How many coaches who take the McNeese job could pull that off? I'll answer - you could count on one hand!
Do you think he could not do that and more at any other SEC school, which by the way he'll probably be at in a couple of years tops/?
