We have no affiliation with Adidas.

Wade’s name still could have come up in the investigation.

Like others have said, everyone is paying players to an extent. What they do about it is the issue.

Look I love Will Wade and LSU basketball but you have to be dirty to be competitive.

I’m fine with ya being dirty because I want to win and it’s the NCAA’s fault everything is fricked. Not Will Wade or LSU’s.

Are we dirty? Absolutely. Look at our class last year.

Do I blame Will Wade? Hell no. I’m all for it.

In this era, it’s a must .... not an option.

Hopefully the person at the NCAA is ignoring this.

They're fricking clueless. This stuff is way too big for NCAA to come close to tackling. Also the tweets before Wade is mentioned talk about Zion Williamson getting money, the NCAA ain't pulling on the K thread.

Sounds like Will playing with the big boys and keeping his nose clean. Not admitted into evidence? Cool. Prove something and I’ll be nervous.

It wasn’t admitted into evidence in this case because it has little to no relevance. Doesn’t mean the NCAA or FBI couldn’t open a separate investigation into LSU.

The NCAA makes millions off the backs of those kids. In reality, they are the real criminals. A kid would have to be a real nut if he didn’t negotiate for the best deal.

Nothing to see here.

Furthermore, as long as Emmert is the top dog at the NCAA we are fine.

frick the NCAA, they’re want to reap all the benefits and leave nothing for the people who actually generate the revenue for them. If they go after Wade and not coach K and the like, this will be remembered as a sham.

PAY the damn players and be done with it!

Say what y’all want, you don’t get this many recruits and get this much better out of nowhere. Nothing will come of this, but I’m just saying.

One hopes that Alleva would have at least learned something from Coach K on how to keep this stuff quiet.

According to the transcript that Donnelly read, Dawkins called Wade and inquired about LSU's interest in 2019 recruit Balsa Koprivica, a 7-foot center from Montverde, Florida.

"So you said to me in Atlanta there was a 2019 kid I wanted to recruit, they can get him to LSU, you would have funded," Dawkins told Wade, according to Donnelly.
"Would you want Balsa?" "Oh, the big kid?" Wade asked.
"Yeah," Dawkins confirmed.

"OK. But there's other (expletive) involved in it," Wade said. "I have got to shut my door . . . Here's my thing: I can get you what you need, but it's got to work."
On June 21, 2017, Koprivica tweeted: "Blessed to say I have received an offer from LSU." Koprivica, the son of former Serbian pro player Slavisa Koprivica, was born in Belgrade and moved to the U.S. with his mother in 2015. He is ranked 42nd in the 2019 ESPN Top 100. He had been considering Gonzaga, Baylor and Florida State, among other schools. Sources told ESPN that Koprivica might sit out the 2019 season after graduating from high school and then enter the 2020 NBA draft.

Basketball recruiting is filthy. I wouldn't doubt wade or any coach fudged a bit to get a recruit. Nature of the business

Because it was unrelated to the trial. The defendant was simply trying to dirty up as many people as possible
