It will not go away as long as
the mad hatter coaches as bad as he did in the NC game. JJ had 3 fumbles & an interception & in each case he blamed the other player. Miles is a complete retard not to play another QB except JJ. Jl or Mett could have done better. Maybe JJ is Les's secret son.

Is it? I don't. I think Saban understands how to attack him. He has 1 career TD compared to 7 INT's.

Look, I am not defending the decision to not to put Lee in. He should have come in during the second half. I just think Miles had his reasons.

the racial component

i'm sorry, but i just don't buy this. was it racial when everyone was calling for Lee's head a few seasons ago?

Last year JL stepped up and made a pass that sealed the game to RR. A pass like that may have been the spark that LSU needed. We'll never know.

Then again we may have lost 34-0 because of pick 6's. But would that have mattered considering the way the game turned out?

Short of something disciplinary, it was a screwup not to give him a shot.

fans are fickle

some fans never gave up on lee

but there are implicit racial comparisons made. for example, for all of lee's mental errors, JJ is often brought up as being dumb or incapable of making good decisions. it was the same with flynn v JR

Maybe to you and I it is.

I agree. Miles started him. But I also think that compounds it further because it is the freshest memory for the coaching staff. He went 3-7 with his last two pass attempts being intercepted.

Like I said, I am not interested in defending anyone. I am just trying to find a reason other than "JJ has pictures of Les"

i think especially in this season this is a product of not seeing ANY progression in his game. except for the bama game, while certainly no drew brees, Lee showed good decision making in his throws.

that shovel pass to bama was such a perfect summation of the type of player JJ has been throughout his time at LSU

Thought he should have been inserted as well.

Don't ask me why I trust coach speak, but I take Les at his word. He said something to the effect he was planning to play Lee but got a short field thus making the running game a better option.
