Just as much on the line but our last hurdle till Bama.

Night game vs day game..

What are your thoughts?

Place needs to be rocking like Georgia 2003

Top it? Probably not. Day game plus playing against a team with a loss takes some of the shine off of it (not a lot). I'd say it will be about 85% as intense as the Florida atmosphere was.

ETA: I hope I'm wrong. I'll be there screaming my head off.

I don’t care about the atmosphere as much as I care about someone taking bo Nix’s head off

Maybe. Most of our fans only have the energy and want these days for one big game. We may be asking too much of them to do it twice in three weeks.

If the weather forecast continues to say 40ish%, that will keep 10,000 people at home.

Should be. The implications are huge. We're on the verge of making a championship run. We have the nation's top scoring offense, which is fun to watch. The more you win, the more each game means.

After playing Texas, playing Florida especially at nite, probably not. But it's Auburn & we still haven't forgotten the cigar game when Tubberville lit it up at midfield. Still payback time. No mercy on the plainsmen.

Auburn still has everything to play for. They also will be more desperate as they HAVE to win the rest of their games for that to stay true. This will be a huge game.

I would hope so, because there is a lot on the line, but I doubt it.

This has been one of the best SEC rivalries since the league went divisional in '92, and many of the games have been really intense.

It seems like the fans at the last few Auburn matchups in Baton Rouge have been disappointingly underwhelming, though. We had the awesome comeback in 2017, but many fans had bailed out earlier in the game because of the heat. The "stiff dew" chased away many fans in another recent Baton Rouge game.

I love the LSU-Auburn game. Hope the fans bring it, regardless of a rainy forecast. There's a lot to play for

As of right now, the National Weather Service forecast for Saturday is: A chance of showers. Mostly sunny, with a high near 68. North wind around 5 mph.

The GFS model is showing the rain moving out between midnight and 6AM. Should be partly cloudy and mid-60s for kickoff.

This unfortunately is the correct answer, I hope I'm wrong. If we are up by 14 or more midway through the Third Quarter watch the people start to leave.

Tiger Stadium was rocking for both Georgia and Alabama(first half) last year...the games were 3 weeks apart

Probably not. Day vs night and Aubie isn’t nearly as hated as Fla. Should be good tho because success breeds enthusiasm

I'm doing what I can to up the intensity. Just posted a query on SEC Rant regarding the Auburn mascot in the Velveeta commercial: LINK

It damn well better be. I was at Georgia day game last year and Florida this year and I would give only a slight edge to Florida game. However this is another top 10 matchup and a must win for both teams. And by the way, a very average freshman qb has basically said he’s not gonna be phased by Death Valley...let’s show him otherwise
