Won’t feel used. I completely understand if he doesn’t play. But I do hope that he does play.

My thought is he will play in the bowl game with Nabers for his record. He just seems like that type of kid. Can’t blame him if he doesn’t though.

I’d honestly love for Nuss to get a full month of first team reps in preparation for next year. JD gains nothing by playing in the bowl

Let the Nuss bus come out and sling it. JD gets his top 10 pick and lots of money. He sent us off with a win vs the Aggies

The way you phrased this makes me wonder what your actual intentions are here. You aren't just trying to promote discussion.

He's a pathetic loser who has been trying to shite on Daniels over and over even though Daniels has played through injuries for LSU, led LSU to its first win against Bama in Tiger Stadium in 13 super-long years last year, and lead LSU to an SEC West title. And this season he has brought LSU even more attention by leading the #1 offense in all of college football and having a chance to win LSU's 3rd Heisman Award in its 130 year history.

It would be great to have him for the bowl game, but if he decides to prepare for the NFL as a future high pick in the draft, I'm ok with it.. A number of people said he might sit out following the Bama game since LSU had no shot at the West or the playoffs after that loss, but he played and gave it his all.

The Heisman will mean a lot more to LSU than any whocares.com bowl. That is why the university is promoting JD.

But if JD opts out of the bowl game, I’m sure plenty of pouty little bitches will manufacture reasons to trash him for it.

I’d rather him not play. Heisman means just as much for LSU as it does for him. I think it couldn’t hurt to see Nuss for a full game and prepare for next year.

Frick no

He laid it on the line for LSU. Whatever bowl we make, he has done enough to make ALL Tigers proud. Pro or not, wish him well...

It's clear the OP has an agenda against Daniels, look at his posting history

You are a troll…. but if we have a big name matchup, I predict he plays but it is splitting some time with Nuss.

He plays because he wants to, but BK protects him from himself by splitting the reps 60/40 or so and we are developing Nuss. I think Nuss plays well in that environment and JD plays like JD and the offense rolls. JD has to play smart, but by only playing a bit more than half the snaps he’s limiting his risk of injury significantly.

Bowl games are not meaningless. They are part of a legacy. He is approaching 4,000 yards on the season. They are also a part of his resume. Right now he is likely the third QB taken and I would think he would want to take every opportunity to make the case for being #1 or #2.

Now, maybe JD5 is satisfied with his draft stock and doesn't want to try to push past Drake Maye and Caleb Williams. If so, that's his choice. And the upside is, it will give Nuss some live game reps to build on next year.

But we need to stop referring to these as meaningless games.
