Will LSU be in the tournament?

Simple question. The fact that it is almost 9pm the day before selection Sunday makes me optimistic. However I truly believe that news comes out tomorrow morning that we will not accept a bid. And I’m livid. The tourney just doesn’t excite me as much with my team not competing

Not that any of these players bear any responsibility for this mess, but if as an ad you feel that by self imposing a ban this year, on a team that is not going to win the tournament anyway, accelerates the end of the penalties then of course you skip the tourney.

You self ban when there’s no shot on making the NCAAT. And we’ll be right back there not making NCAAT soon “fans”.

Cmon man? If you think the NCAA is going to impose a multi year post season ban, and you have a chance to serve the first one now, you do it. Otherwise, let’s say they impose a 2 year post season ban, you will now have 2 full irrelevant basketball seasons as opposed to one if you sit out this year. That’s 2 years of the PMAC being empty. 2 years of apathy. 2 years of the program being irrelevant.

given what we've seen out of this team this year, there wasn't reason to be excited before...
let's be honest... ain't like Wade was some great in-game coach that could give us an edge if we are even matched on the court... if anything, he's a detriment in terms of in-game coaching ability

Have you even followed LSU Basketball. You want to start a 2 year ban while we’re in the NCAAT to offset the years we won’t be in the NCAAT?

We won’t have the players to make tournament until post season ban is over. You play this year.

No. The players who are already here should not be penalized. Players can avoid this program if the penalties are in the future. The kids come first.

Let the athletes play. Don’t punish the innocent here, I know that it sucks for them but I will cheer them on the entire way through the tournament regardless. Those guys play hard and they play tough.

Probably best to decline the bid, assuming one is offered by the NCAA
