I agree he was a special player. But since I no longer live in LA, I just wonder if he ever gave anything back to the school.

On my return visits, I can't recall his name ever being mentioned.

K Faulk is a stand-up individual and has definitely given back to LSU. His name will go up on the stadium for sure. Can't blame the guy for wanting to blaze at lil Wayne concert. He's human.

As good as Faulk was, he was only at LSU for 4 years. I think there has to be contribution to a program for a longer period of time before you get a stadium, field, or anything named after you. I love the guy, but I just don't think he has done enough to deserve getting his name on anything.

Yes, but Abram Booty's name should be there also.

We can put his name on the out of bounds stripes.

Because all I remember about watching him play was that every time he caught the ball he darted immediately for the nearest sideline to get out of bounds before he got hit.

He definitely deserves it. We need more names up there.

If Faulk goes in, Reed should too. As far as production, they are very similar as far as where they rank with all time SEC greats.

While that's true, KF holds a special place in the hearts of tiger fans of a certain age. Those same tiger fans saw JR play just a few years later and while he's beloved as well, it's not anywhere near the extent KF is.

Faulk (along with Saban) arguably played the single greatest role in turning around LSU football and laying the groundwork for the RIDICULOUS success we are experiencing today.

As far as players, yeah sure. I hope you didn't mean his contributions were on the order of Saban's.

How much of an ambassador has he been to LSU?

He's spent less time in jail than Billy Cannon, so not enough, I suppose.
