I think he's a practice squad type guy, not someone I really could see as a backup in the NFL

The rantard is strong in this one.

Lee may not have the greatest QB ever, but he was solid last year. Quit living in 2008!

I can see him being a good practice QB. Strong enough arm, coaches son that knows defenses....I could see him sticking on a practice squad.

Wow, revisionist history at its finest. He didn't chuck it for 300yds a game but he did perform as needed except for the game in Alabama. Idiot.

I think at least a very good chance at landing on the practice squad. With only carrying 2 QB's on the active roster. He could be a little insurance.

Pretty my feeling as well. It'll be interesting to see what different coaching will do for him. He progressed fairly well with one year under Krag.

Performed as needed......always cracks me up to see Lee lovers say things like this. JJ was below average, JL was average. Pull their numbers, they both were run of the mill QBs with incredible defenses and special teams to add points to the board. Let it go already.

So are you saying that the San Diego Chargers are not competent evaluators of talent?

Do you not believe that if a better player was available they would have them in camp instead of Lee?
I will hang up and listen.

I would love to see this guy succeed at the next level. I dont think it will be with the chargers. He will most likely jump around a few teams and end up in the 2nd or 3rd spot in a couple years. When a starter gets hurt he will get his chance to show what he can do and it will be up to him to make the best of it. I think he can do it.

I hope he makes the team. Great news for LSU, if he does.

JL's biggest challenge (IMO) is just playing with confidence.

The arm strength concern seems odd. Never seemed an issue to me.

Realistically, he's got about a 30-40% chance of sticking in SD. Wish him the best.

You're an idiot.

He played great against Oregon, West Virginia, Moo State, Auburn, Florida.....

So show me these weak teams he didn't perform in.

Get over '08.

Honest question. What does it say about Coach Miles if he makes the Chargers roster and what will people think?

I think he will make the practice squad. Maybe in a few years he might catch on as a backup. That would be a great success given his capabilities.

That Miles is a good coach. Lee was coached by Miles for 5 years.

If you are referencing his handling of the QB situation, it really says nothing. Flynn is an NFL starter, while JR is hoping for an Arena team callback. JR was arguably the best QB in the nation his Jr. year

What does that say about Miles?

Every Tiger fan should hope he makes the roster, this would only help recruiting of future quaterbacks. Miles and Krags can say they have sent a quaterback to the NFL.
