Besides being good and at ole Miss, it’s hard not to root for him. Dude is clutch.

I mean, would you want him over any LSU first basemen we've had aside from Yorke in the last 4 yrs?

He does visually resemble Eddy alot with his play. His form at bat looks exactly like his dad. He just don't make contact as much as his pop did.

Eh in conference play last year he was better than both Ethan Frey and Jared Jones.
Over 4 years, Furniss has slashed .304/.405/.485 in SEC play.
For comparison:
Over 2 years Curiel slashed .301/.382/.447
Over 3 years Milam slashed .263/.352/.465
Over 3 years Jones slashed .266/.371/.502
Over 3 years Brown slashed .255/.342/.503

I don’t root for individuals. I root for a team. Him not being on the team I root for makes it very easy to root against him.

I'm rooting for Furniss and Bianco and Ole Miss over Texas, GA and Bama. I'm rooting for MS State too but they are a long shot after today.,
I'll root for OK over GA, Texas or Bama.
West Virginia might be my favorite and they'll likely win the Jello Shot competition unless they go 2 N Q.
No reason to hate on Ole Miss too hard. We broke them with Kiffin and baseball is a different kind of sport.
