Why would an AD hire elite coaches in 3 sports (FB, Baseball and Womens BB)

Because elite coaches just aren't lining up to come coach LSU basketball like they are the other three
Not defending Woodward cause he's a piece of shite for what he did to Will Wade but he a stud coach isn't lining up to coach LSU basketball and probably never will

Bingo. Our fanbase doesnt understand where our basketball program is related to others. And especially after the handling of wade. We basically screamed out that we dont give a frick about the program by doing what we did

I have it on good authority that he intentionally tanked the program because he has a vendetta against basketball. It all started in 7th grade when he got picked last for the playground game.

Well, we probably wouldn't have landed an elite womens BB coach if she wasn't from Louisiana and had been around campus many times because her son played baseball here and developed relationships around the school.

LSU has 3 national championships in football in the last 20 years. It’s an attractive destination.
Very few schools support college baseball like LSU. It’s a top destination.
One of the best coaches in WBB happens to be from Louisiana and had a child attend LSU. That made LSU an attractive destination for that particular coach.
Mens basketball doesn’t have that cache and there isn’t a great HC out there who is a Louisiana native and/or LSU alum.

You're not convincing any elite basketball coach to come here when you just fired the most successful coach in decades over fear of what the NCAA might do and sanctions of some kind potentially coming down. It was a terrible situation.

How do you think we ended up with John Brady after Dale Brown? Brady spent six years at Samford never getting to a NCAAT before being hired here because nobody wanted to follow Brown and deal with sanctions.

People say shite like this like most coaches don’t get fired when they’re named in 5 allegations of Level 1 violations including obstruction/attempting to conceal. Wade got treated like 99.9999% of basketball coaches would get treated.
