You mean you didn't like our coaches strategy of building a fence around fricking Country Day and pulling dudes out of the band lol.I laugh at people saying Will killed our program for the future, the program was already dead. That's like being mad a the vet that did a miracle surgery on your dog that got hit by a truck and the dog survived, but 5 years later the dog died. That vet gave you 5 years with your dog you would never had experience.
Wade from year 1 bought that energy. I will never forget Waters going Reggie Miller at A&M, the comeback at Missouri leading to the famous Emmit Williams gif, the game winning layup by waters to go to the sweet sixteen, the game winner by Skylar vs Miss St, and so many more great moments I can't even list. Plus the way Will lead the team after the Wade Sims tragedy.
I will always Boot up thanks coach Wade.

Yeap. WW rescued the dead program that had 1 losing season in a row. Top 3 conference finishes the 2 years prior.
Now we headed for probation. But at least we got that sweet 16 appearance out of it. A shame WW couldn’t experience the pinnacle of LSU basketball during his tenure.

Wrong, see people like you have no idea Buzz Williams was just caught with major recruiting violations or that Bama was just caught paying a player in 2020 after an investigation that started in 2017 and both got slaps on the wrist. So I know you’re all fired up thinking we’re going to have a long probation and you’ll be able to keep bashing Wade for years to come but that’s not gonna happen so sorry to rain on your parade.

I don't recall even ever saying that. I do recall saying a losing conference record was not a lock to get in...I think my specifics were 7-11 would leave us out.
Look at a&m. They got absolutely fricked. They won 2 more games against sec teams than we did. They won more games against the sec top 4 than us. They were hot as hell down the stretch, and a legit contender for a sweet 16 or elite 8 type team. They finished 9-9 in regular season.

It's says something about lack of LSU support for basketball that the head coach is directly involved in pay for play like that. Just get 1/50th of the support from boosters that football gets and Wades name wouldn't have had to be on any of it.
This is what's infuriating to me as an LSU fan that is basketball first.
1,000% CORRECT! If we had an arena with club seats and suites, the well-healed occupants would have made sure there was a great product on the court every season.
