So Lane gets to see who he wants on the team next season. And the young kids get some real game time.

LSU just hired a new coach that has brought the most excitement to this fanbase since.......maybe forever and you come and post this negative shite. Dude, these kids and coaches have been pouring out their blood, sweat and tears since August and you're coming here saying they should just act like pussies and say frick a bowl game. Go pull for Tulane or ULL.

You must be a two year old that thinks the whole world revolves around you! While your living in you mother’s basement just press this little button on your TV remote called On/Off if you choose not to watch.

The team will get plenty of practice in order to develop the younger talent. Coach Kiffin will be able to evaluate personnel. The rest of us true LSU fans will get to watch our team play one final time this season.

So STFU troll!

Don’t normally post but as a coach myself (baseball) this might be one of the worst comments I have ever seen on TD….no matter the scheme or coaching, the extra bowl practices are invaluable for anyone that straps up cleats and takes the field from an experience standpoint. Not to mention LK getting to see what he has to work with and determine the best way to help mold his players. I really am shaking my head at your comment…

I think it should be a team decision. Bowls can be fun, some guys might get a chance to play who don’t normally.

Because, unlike pussies on this site, most of these kids want to play football. Some of them won't ever play again. Anyone who has really played would give anything to strap on the pads again.

Practice for what, they won't be running the same offense and possibly the same defense. Just a waste of time imo

It allows the new staff to observe and evaluate the current roster and staff at a bare minimum.

That alone is worth having them.

This is absurdly stupid. No way Kiffin wouldn't want to have a hand in bowl prep
