Called whatever as long as he keeps hitting the ball like he is. Dude has some serious power and a surprisingly quick bat.

If anything the criticism should be giving him that nickname after 1 game against Milwaukee to start the season

Take it up with Ben McDonald. Let us know how it went

It’s low effort and it doesn’t make sense

Let’s just call the next cornerback that makes a forced fumble the honey badger too.

People have tried to make “Honkey Badger” a thing for Whit Weeks. That’s way worse.

But can he hit the off speed stuff? I’m not sure he sees another fastball the rest off the season. I know if I’m the guy on the bump he would not get one.

How about the Duke of Yorke, or Big Kahuna crush? The Power Ball? 3 Bens (3 $100 bills)? Gotham? Toothpick (reverse nickname & makes bat look small)? Lunch bully? Yogi Bear?

I realize they're all dumb, but I'm bored.

He hit over .300 while at Grand Canyon & he's said in multiple interviews that he considers himself a spray hitter as much as he is a power hitter. His teammates will give him the nickname that they feel fits him best.
