Why is the LSU logo next to our profile names not the official purple LSU logo?

I’ve just always wondered this. Every other team seems to have their official team logos beside their profile names. I know I’m going to get torched for this but I’ve wondered this for years lol

I'm guessing the geaux font is still new enough to be copyrighted.
