For what it’s worth I like the gold LSU logo. It’s nice and easy to see with the site’s color scheme.

I think you would probably have a good handle on this and to my laymen's mind I would think the same thing. Probably also applies to LSU but acquiescing to their request is the right call as well, in my opinion.
Let me take one minute to be serious and I ask you not expect this too often
You have done an amazing job getting this site to where it is. I know a lot of things (like timing, format choices, tec.) had to coalesce for you to end up with the best college fan board in existence but also suspect there was a lot of blood, sweat and tears put into getting it here. I appreciate this site and I would like to say thank you.
Now, don't expect that again any time soon.
