I would say that this is a characteristic of any fan of any sport in the world. It's part of the ups and downs of being a fan.

What do you think Bama fans did during the Dubose, Fran, SHula days? You think they sat there calmly and golf clapped every saturday? Noooooo...they bitched and moaned and pressured their school to make shite happen. The school backed up the truck and got their coach.

Silent wheels never get any grease.

every single fan base in the country has people that bitch about calls.

I'd not one of them - I think calls usually balance out and now we have replay to overturn egregious errors.

But this isn't an LSU thing. Every program has fans that do it.

All SEC fan bases accuse LSU fans of whining nonstop about officiating and non calls in every game. I hate to say it, but they are right on the mark.

By far, most whining here is directed at other fans. Yes, I realize I just engaged in passive whining about other fans.

Like when LSU was called for a personal foul for getting punched in the face?

Honest question: when was the last time LSU was (incorrectly) the beneficiary of a game-changing call, while playing Florida, Bama, or Auburn?

It's just frustrating because literally all questionable calls go against us. And of course to win November 4th we'll have to beat Alabama and the refs.

This is exactly the mentality I am referring to...always playing the victim.

Poor LSU, we just don't have a chance with all of those bad people and their whistles after us.

lol, seriously? I'm guessing you were sleeping during the punt return and not seen a replay.

You know what’s more annoying about LSU fans? And I’m being dead serious.

I’ve never seen a fan base quite like LSU fan base that’s so quick to turn on our own kind. Our fans hold the rest of the fan base under hyper-scrutiny for every little thing. We used to have a reputation of being assholes to the visitors. Now, we welcome the visitors with open arms and a tilted plate of food with a cold beer. And then we criticize the frick out of our own from every possible angle under the sun.

How about we all take a break from this crap

To take a break from whining would mean to take a break from the Rant. I am not prepared to do so at this time. Have a down vote. It's on me.

Just because I’m paranoid doesn’t mean they are not out to get us!

And it DOES NOT even out, not during a single game. If you feel better telling yourself that, fine. But there are not enough plays or time to make up for bad calls within a single game.

I agree that was an obvious/terrible call, but they do happen occasionally. However, every play from scrimmage does not fit into that category as some here would like everyone to think.

Bama fans are far, far worse when it comes to complaining about the officials. Of course, they also complain about the moon, the tides, and both major political parties every game.

South Carolina, Kentucky, and Vanderbilt are the only SEC football schools that I really do not hear much complaining, outside of that, give me a freaking break with this non sense.

all fans at all levels in all sports bitch about officiating. I doubt LSU fans are even in the top 25 in this.

if you don't believe me try umpiring baseball, or even softball games. you'll need certification but you will get paid for it and see games for free. if you are a masochist I would suggest umpiring womens softball or boys little league first. if parents or the "girls" don't kill you you can move up. if you really get good, you can move up and make really good money, which will help compensate for the death threats you will receive.

Did you watch the Auburn game?

Chark's punt return had a clear block in the back, uncalled.

And Devin White clearly hit Stidham in the head in the fourth quarter. An obvious penalty, uncalled.

There's no conspiracy against us. To think otherwise is immature.
