Agree.
And to lesser degree, I don't think Myles would have either.
A lot of it is making the D account for the field not become centered on the QB. Our O did not do a good job of using our playmakers.

JD has made a lot of starts so you know what he can and can’t do. Regardless of cleaning up his footwork he still has the same habits he’s always had but he’s a great runner so why are we dropping him back 52 times instead of designing runs and plays to use his legs and protecting him with a run game or screens? We had 13 rushing attempts last night, that’s not even trying.

Because he is not good. He’s a one read & run QB. The worst part is he reads the slowest developing routes and misses open receivers underneath. Sorry but that’s facts. Is Nuss better or worse? No idea but JD is not good.

They better go zone read, QB run and run heavy spread with shots and one on one matchups if this is gonna work. Dropping him back 50 times and him running around won’t get it done.

Richardson had 24 pass attempts and 11 rushes for Florida Saturday. That’s how you use JD. Doesn’t need to be the exact same play count but in that way.
