Verge could go down as the GOAT AD if he were to bring in Kiffin and Will Wade

Being respectful to Wade, who would have major distractions going into the tournament

obviously if not fired at this point they are going to at least let him finish season first. Also, if buyout goes down April 1st then may wait a few weeks to lower the buyout if prospective coaches are still coaching anyway. not like they wouldn't be talking to agents behind the scenes anyways.

All I was saying if Wade or another p5 coach were to come here, I doubt they do it without some NIL commitment from the school which maybe we don't do. BUT, the fact that there is some smoke behind Wade is at least telling me we are willing to say we have some money ready for the next guy.

Pure speculation/Rumors on twitter.

If CMM is here next year you'll see bad coaching and players. Might not even be able to fill out the roster.

Aren't there also assistants on expiring contracts? What assistant is going to want to come here on a 1-year deal knowing the head coach is likely fired.

What are you Wade cucks going to do when he gets mid tier NIL money here(due to buyouts and his own contract), and he can’t have much, if any success here?

Wade will come if LSU commits to more NIL money than he's getting at NC State. There are prominent boosters/donors who WANT to make this happen based on his previous success here. Not to mention the school president, board of supervisors chairman and newest board member all have ties to Wade. Wade would energize the fan base and give the program a much-needed shot in the arm.

Much like his previous tenure, I would expect Wade to move the program in a positive direction in his first season and continue to build upon it from there. He's never had a losing season at Chattanooga, VCU, LSU, McNeese and NC State, and he has a 69 percent winning percentage overall, so you have to like his chances.

"The school" providing an NIL commitment is a misnomer. "The school" can't make NIL deals. The only thing the school can do now is provide a share of the revenue, which is dictated by a % set by the school within the confines of the revenues share cap in the House settlement.

NIL comes from the donors. And there is no limit on what they can provide. The only limit is on how much "rain" the head coach can shake from the clouds. Thus, to the extent poor Matt just didn't have any money, it's largely of his own doing because he does not like the donor relations aspect of the business. That's why you see Kiffin speaking at business events, attending ball games with wealthy (potential) boosters compared to McMahon who you occasionally see handing out donuts to kids in the quad.

That's why I suspect LSU still has some appeal to Wade. He already knows the donor network and they know him. Wade is unique in that he's the only LSU HC in recent memory, maybe ever, who was fired against the wishes of the fans and donors.

I have no doubt there are money people ready to bring in a new coach if it's Wade. My big question is are those same people ready to step up for someone new besides him.

For the THIRD TIME jest a fig, were/are you happy with our 3 most recent football titles?

Cuz if ya are, (I hate to break it to your libtard arse), you are supporting a program that was illegally recruited to the highest level.

Unless of course, your pathetic arse believes in the tooth fairy, and cleanly ran big time college football programs.
