I bet if Joe Burrow, Devin White and Dave Aranda filmed a PSA asking students to refrain from participating in the chant, the students would probably oblige.
Has this been tried yet (using any popular players/coaches/alumni besides OBJ)?
Hell, if OBJ had requested as much when he was a student I'm sure his fellow students would have granted the request.

We're just saying it's a really bad chant that many (I'd argue the vast majority) of people don't want to hear. It's not just an issue for younger kids.
What about women, of all ages. You think they like hearing it? You think my wife would like it? My mother?
