Alleva did that then fired him a few games later. So what’s the point? He wants to see results just like us. If not he has to hire someone else.

You don't get the dreaded vote of confidence until the axe is about to fall.

I didn’t ask you, a-hole!

Just kidding I’ll bet that’s more than OP. Not that it matters. My one has served me well enough.

Maybe it's because we finally have an actual professional in that office?

He is laying low until it is time to make a move, which likely will be soon.

Enough to know your AD doesn’t speak publicly about internal decisions.
He has student athletes to protect. Recruits to keep. Integrity for a program to uphold. And a future coach’s trust that he doesn’t publicly attack his team.
It’s called being a professional.

It’s obvious from that post you’re immature. And from your OP you’re really really dumb.

Why this needs to be explained is astounding.

Because saying this:

quote:

“I hear you, this isn’t LSU standards please be patient”

Would cause the complete opposite of this:

quote:

calming down everything by giving us a little hope

The silence is entirely professional and appropriate.
And it is deafening if you are Ed O.
If the problems were temporary, or due to forces beyond O's control, if Ed was doing as well as could be expected, there likely would be a few words of encouragement.
Not in this case...

Obviously if he makes a stupid public statement like that it forces him to fire O and get that process going. We are not at that state yet.
