You're 100% right. Their players outplayed ours.

I certainly agree. But I also assert that something happened previous to the Bama game. Tennessee, Georgia, and Miss State all moved the ball better than us. And we were (at least) much better than all three of those teams in the run game.
Whatever it was, carried over to Arkansas.

The run defense has gone to crap too. Unless Loc is playing under 100 percent I have no idea what the cause of that would be.

I agree. I also think Dinardo got a bum rap. It was the players fault. Dinardo was a damn strong coach.

Why do we think that is? Why could he run for 200 yards at times by the 4th quarter? Did he forget how to run the ball? Sometime you have to give the other team credit. I don't think LF7 is weaker player than he was the first seven games.

Coaching, play calling, or execution?

No, are you?

Do you think our talent levels are worse than Arkansas, Notre dame, Clemson, Iowa, Mississippi state, ole miss, auburn, etc.?

Do I think sometimes a team has an off game and the lesser talented team wins? Absolutely. Do I think it should happen as often as it has in the recent past? No. Do I think LSU has underperformed with the talent they have had? Yes.

You asked a question, someone answers it for you.

What does this even mean? What are you basing this "talent" on

Lemme guess, you started a thread to "ask" a rhetorical question; only to be able to spew the pumper "logic" when someone doesn't answer the way you WANTED it to be answered.

What a pussy-kind-of-way to say what you really wanted to say.

Cam is supposed to recruit the QBs and the best one he has is a guy who can't complete short passes. Look at the guy we missed out on in Mason Rudolph, who is lighting it up at Okie St.

Miles is at fault here in this regard as well. QBs see this crappy product at LSU year in and year out where we barely pass the ball and they say, no way!

Jefferson
Lee
Jennings

All could have been developed in to better products than what they became at LSU

The jury is still out on Harris. He is still a true sophomore and Mett didn't come around until his SR season.

How long will it be until people realize Miles has no clue on how to properly develop a QB? How many top rated qbs are going to come to LSU and not live up to their high school rankings? The same shite happens ever season

Lee sucked

Jefferson was crowned the savior

Jefferson sucked

Lee crowned the savior

Mett sucked JR season

Jennings winning 6 Heismans

Mett lived up to the hype his Sr season

Jennings sucked

Harris named the trend breaker

Harris some what sturggles the last two games now he "sucks"

Franks named the new savior.

When will this cycle end???

I just told you. LSU has had more players get drafted in the NFL than almost any other team, and certainly more than Arkansas. Not only that, but a large majority of those players have been quite successful. Do you not think that that is indicative of the talent we have had?

I agree it was a poor effort by the players. Jefferson in particular, took some angles that defy geometric credulity.

We've done an excellent job at skill positions and mediocre on the lines recently. We are losing at the line of scrimmage. Miles got Orgeron and grimes and they both have kicked up those areas a notch in recruiting.
Looks like we noticed the weakness and are trying to fix it. Something wrong with that?

So miles hasn't done a good job of recruiting? You know you can't praise him for being a good recruiter and then say the lines are weak...because of recruiting

No matter who is on the staff the head coach should have the ultimate decision in who we recruit or sign right?

because it's college football and there is a different roster literally every year. An so when you have the same results and same poor game planning with different rosters it should be the coach.and I know the recruiting rankings don't mean everything but when you see the teams that we are finishing with atop the recruiting rankings flourishing every year, it is hard to blame the players or the recruiting rankings

Because if it was only the players fault Bum Philips corpse would still be coaching the Saints & we'd be talking about how much that rascal Curly Hallman has evolved in 23 years.

I'm not sure what you are trying to prove.

Is there some perfect recruiter and coach that 100% never makes a mistake or has a hole on his team? That is an unrealistic expectation.

Looks like we realized a problem and attempting to fix it.

This evolved exactly as I thought it would, still falling back on arguing about the coaching staff.

There are a million and one variables that go into a players performance besides talent. Its not Madden on Xbox where your 95 rated receiver is going to catch it over a 65 rated corner every single time.
