Why does it have to be the coaches fault? Why not blame the players?

Why are most so delusional in thinking LSU's players are always superior to the other team?

Could our coaching be better? Sure, but when someone points out that a particular player just isn't that good, its like someone pissed on their mother's grave.

Because we are watching Henry get the Heisman while the best running back in a decade has back to back sub-100 yard games.

then the coaching staff is not evaluating the kids correctly. The only constant we've had in Miles tenure, is Miles. Great and average players come and go.

Because this group of talent should be playing better. It's the coaches job to make sure this team improves over the course of the season (Especially after a lose). Which clearly doesn't happen under a Les Miles coached team.

The problems have been too consistent to blame on players, who are interchanged every 3-4 years.

What does this even mean? What are you basing this "talent" on?

Alabama is one thing, but we are delusional for thinking LSU is superior to Arkansas? We shouldn't be getting our asses handed to us by them 2 years in a row. That falls on coaching.

This is college ball, not pros. They are not getting paid. In situations like this, collegiate fan bases won't openly attack players. JJ being the exception to the rule lol

Because why shite on 18-22 yr olds that are playing their heart out...anyone with a brain can see week in week out opposing coaching staffs have a better game plan.

Because if its the players, it's been the players' fault every year, which comes back to coaching

We've blamed our O-Line and front seven for about two weeks now.

No excuse for LSU to look that unprepared against Arkansas. Especially with a lot to still play for.

I'll admit that LSU is weak at a few key positions (DL & LB). But the OLine & DB's look completely lost out there.

True, but you can't tell me the hate towards the coaches isn't way more rampant.

Its easier to change a few coaches than 85 players.

I agree. But I'm trying to understand why people can't come to grips with the fact that they are not "elite".

The only argument I've seen is, "MUH 4 STAR! MUH 5 STAR!"

well for one this isn't a new problem...we have struggled for years offensively. I base that talent on who is playing in the NFL right now...we still struggled when we had that talent. Wed definitely haven't maximized that talent.
