Why do we always get Pat Adams as a referee?

He's horrible and wants to argue with everyone...

Here is a hint to the league, if the fans know the names of the refs, don’t hire them. It means they’re terrible.

Crazy thing is, he’s from BR and went to Broadmoor. Guess he over compensates to not appear biased

When the 5 minute mark hit the calls became laughable. If we were too close to somebody it was a foul while they played defense with their hands the rest of the way. Adams truly is the worst.

Adams is not that good, but he is NOWHERE NEAR AS HORRIBLE as "TV teddy-freddy" valentine. We only get him once or twice a year, but I swear, if I won one of the powerball jackpots, I would give him MILLIONS to hang up the whistle forever.

Pat officiated in Baton Rouge Association early in his career. Was the same way he is now. He followed on the back of Benny Adams (dont know if related) who was in SEC and is in NBA right now I think!

I wonder when he started... I started officiating basketball in Baton Rouge chapter while I was at LSU 82-86...

I had no idea who the ref was but I I said dammit Pat! My nephew looked and said “ you know who the refs are?” Educated guess from some of the calls.

You can’t let them play all game and then decide to call it tight at the end; it’s BS and the players and fans don’t deserve the agony

And what they don’t understand is Pat Adams is one of the most respected BB officials in the SEC.
The guy who struggled yesterday was named “Tony”.... he’s the one who called the BS fouls on Days
Pat also chewed the Tenn Asst Coach’s arse during a timeout to the point the coach went to the scorers table to apologize for yelling at them. It happened off camera and behind the backs of the officials but the coach should have been T’d

I saw that he was yelling at the Tennessee bench. He did the same thing to Will Wade at Texas A&M. I wasn't complaining, but stating a fact...
