I was impressed when their band performed at halftime at a LSU game in the 90s. There is a level of respect.
Think of the Aggie band like a real good drag performer. They are so good you are almost fooled in thinking you are a seeing a woman.

I dont know but it was very satisfying participating in booing those idiots.
I had the unfortunate luck of having to sit next to a smug aggie and his lady. They were chirping before the game. In the "opening ceremonies" they were laughing and hooping ad hollering while sitting down because when everyone stood up they realized what it was and then sat down.
Then when the DJ played that rap remix of that "we ready" song. They were laughing and shaking their heads and chirping everyone.
Dude got to cheer like 3 times. Then spent the rest of the game leaning forward resting his chin on his hands. Me and my wife told them to enjoy that long ride home when they got up and left in the 3rd. They didnt say a word back hahahahaha. They were dressed ridiculous too

So we don't have to see another rendition of old, out of date show tunes with people marching around and swishing pieces of cloth on a pvc pipe! And the idea of precision marching, as demonstrated by TGBFTL decades ago and the current Aggie band, is evidently not taught by LSU Band Music Dept as those lines sag like prison pants.

For 20 years or so LSU and A&M played in Baton Rouge every year. The Aggie band always marched at halftime.
