So if LSU won a game JJ played in they would have won anyway and he didn't contribute anything?

You are trying to spin this and you are going THE WRONG WAY.

We had almost zero wasted plays.

Since 2007, we've had two games that weren't called by Gary Crowton (Texas A&M and Oregon). In those games, we've had one delay of game penalty - last night on a punt.

To be honest neither guy has reached what LSU should expect of a starting Qb. Imagine if we had Ryan Mallet as our starter last year?

I am noticing a trend.

What has always bothered me about the JJ versus JL debate is tha it took the focus off where the criticism deserved to be -- our incompetent offensive coordinator.

81, you obviously missed the entire 2010 LSU season as it was evident to even the most casual fan that the 2010 LSU offense was the most painful and offensive team to watch due to a QB that was ranked close to being last out of 114 Div 1 teams, JJ was about 102 in passing. Again, watch the 2110 season & tell me that JJ played lights out & he was the reason LSU won 11 games last year. It's not that we hate JJ we just can't stand his yards passing per game stats.

EXACTLY...JJ played significantly better against AM last year. BOTH players have had plenty of crappy games over the past few years. I personally think JJ gives more options and a better chance to win, but in subtracting crowton's bullshite the team is helped immensely.

Get over it. People like you are completely ridiculous. When JL sucked for 1yr people wanted him pulled when JJ did it for 2yrs people wanted him to be pulled. If you believe it has anything to do with race I feel sorry that you live such an insecure life.

Perhaps the Tennessee game last year? Just knowing that Jefferson is capable of such incompetant game management.

Are u crazy? What games are u watching? Lee gives us a better chance to win. Lee's numbers don't look good because of all the dropped balls. He is no Supestar but he knows how to manage a game. He gets us in the correct play which Jefferson could never do. He throws a better deep ball than Jefferson.

say a starting pitcher gives up 10 earned runs in 5 innings, but his team scored 11 runs and wins 12-10. Did he pitch well?

PEE J!!!
That shite just ain't true. The D was pretty porous.

JJ got WAY more credit for te Ga Tech game than he should have.
Yes, Lee should've gotten credit for that bowl. I mean, it was his picks that got us there.

LSU would have beaten T A & M last year with lee.
Doubtful with the 9-3-11 performance. I seem to remember the QB scored 4 TDs and contributed @ 70yds rushing.

Are you talking about the final series where JJ came in near the goal line and was given one play by the coaching staff? Where he had his own number called, got stuffed and then popped up looking for the sidelines for a play and waited...and waited...and waited...and waited...until finally they ran in 4 wides with about 7 seconds left and they nearly didn't get the ball snapped and got bailed out by TENN who felt the need to counter our stupidity with their own change?

That was on Jefferson...and not on the discombobulation between Miles and Crowton? Seriously?

JJ had plenty of times over the past two season where he was infuriatingly inconsistent...there's no need to tar him with shite he literally had no control over.
