IMO both qbs are close to the same ability.
Exactly they're both sub-par QBs. My posts have been in reaction to the "See Lee is awesome" posts.

If that is the case then Jefferson by far because he made plays with his arms and with his feet. And on another note wh had a shitty Oline last year also so you guys can't blame jefferson for everything. You can blame the playcalling if you are hoping to blame anybody. He'll jefferson made good throws last year too that should have been caught so give credit where credit is due.

I like em both.
I like JJ's game management skills and his ability to get to the edge.
I like JL's arm strength, gunslinger potential, and his story of character and perserverance.
Why do i have to like one "better" ?

Lee exhibits 2 characteristics that are null and void in JJ: Humility and Leadership.

I am not making a case for Jefferson or Lee. I support who the coach puts on the field. My point is that it is not a race issue as evidenced by the popularity of black qb's like Davey and Tyler over the white qb's that played recently.

I think Obama is terrible. My avatar is tongue in cheek.

To be honest Jefferson wasn't a great quarterback

The reason I like him better is because he played last night. And won.

Jefferson was such a terrible leader that he was voted team captain last year.

This is what I noticed the most. Lee never had clock problems. Lee never had problems getting the play off in time. I noticed this last year as well - for instance, in the Tenn game (the clock blunder), Lee drove us all the way down, with no clock issues, then JJ goes in when we get inside the 10 and we have clock issues. Some people blame that on Miles and Crowton, but I think it squarely falls on the shoulders of an incompetent QB, like JJ. Funny, Miles never had clock issues with Flynn and he never had clock issues with Lee. Both QB's take control of the field and take direction from the bench. JJ doesn't have that capability.
