Should we give this guy a phone call???

You know the only reason that doesn't happen is experience the lack thereof on the wideout and a senior quarterback's lack of trust as a result.
To be honest neither guy has reached what LSU should expect of a starting Qb. Imagine if we had Ryan Mallet as our starter last year?
Both these guy are real bangers and run as hard as any. Trent Richardson is still the best back in the country, yet these two are just as effective.

Wide reciever routes.

We need more deception running post corner instead of strictly inside the hash post routes. Watch the replay of Beckhams missed reception 30 yards post. If Beckham had ran postcorner that safety is dead to rights lost.

I agree 33 is weird for a wideout, then again maybe the defender will think he is defending a slower running back. I want to see more post corner routes, the safety's last night kept biting inside.
Great post and point to boot. Devery Henderson might want to step it up about now.
Well i disagree, the LSU staff used Ridley properly, its not like he was on the bench. Sec backs are underrated in alot of cases because so many SEC teams have 2 or 3 good ones and coachs try to please them all equally. Just look at how many Sec backs late rounders have made it at running back. Adrian Foster, Ben Tate, the kid from Ole Miss with the Pats now.
JJ gives us an advantage Lee does not have with his ability to run and obtain first downs. That being said unless JJ tears it up Lee still deserves his shot.

AP? What worries me is that defenses are going to load up on this guy. Just how many blows can this guy take? He has really beat the odds thus far.

Its such a guessing game isn't it. Yet based on these top two backs ending up in your lap with Rivers is about a miracle. Yet i could see either having disappointing seasons. Why? Both the Vikings and the Titans do not have a lot of teeth in their passing game and Ap and Cjk stand to take on some pretty harsh beatings this year.
3 Qbs in the top 3? I have not seen that happen in 2 mocks and 3 legit drafts.
Outside the top 5 running backs are a crapshoot. I would take Tom Brady first then look for a top Wr. I think Blount from Tampa and Lynch for Seattle are good value running backs. I would say Turner would be nice but he seems to have peeked and Forte seems to suffer a poor Oline.

Cant blame the network, yet blame the NFL, that sold the rights to these preseason games to Cox. Its only preseason, heck i had better things to do and i got my recorder set for 7am Thursday morning.

Agreed why even give them the game experience of what we shall unleash in week 3.
