In a single post you said he was a 2 star, 3 star, and 4 star. Which one is it?

The fact is that Justin Jefferson has grown into a beast at wide receiver. Don't get all salty about whether he was a 2 star or 3 star recruit out of high school. He's an elite player now.

Star rating can be so wrong! Got to see the athlete perform in person imo, to really know.

I think what he was saying was about Tyrann. people have said he was a 2-star, but he actually wound up being a 4 star I believe the summer before his senior year in HS.

like I said earlier, all this is just part of the underrated player narrative. lower the ranking, better the story.

if it makes Jefferson go off again and we get a natty out of it, I'm all for it.

Wait, so you're admitting he was indeed a 2 star.

Why make a big deal about it...does it bother you that bad? i am pretty sure ESPN rankings had him a No Stars...so technically he was No Star, 2 Star, and 3 Star on 3 different sites...just all which one you prefer...So they arent lies at all....your making a mountain out of a mole hill here

what difference does it make ?

HE WILL CASH IN...
players do not get compensated on how they were rated prior to college.

Why is this such a big deal for you? I've seen you post in other threads about this a few times. Weird flex.

I'll agree that his film did not look like a 2 or 3 star. He looked like a 4 star

They’re also saying Burrow was a 3-star but he was the 8th ranked 4- star dual threat QB in the country.

It's 247 composite

Which has him as a 2 star if you don't round up. His composite score was 0.798 less than the 0.80 which is their 3 star threshold.

What exactly are you trying to gain from this thread?

You say no one uses rivals only the 247 composite but one of the factors in the composite is rivals. I’ve been following recruiting for almost 20 years now and frankly I don’t use the composite because I think Scout and ESPN are garbage. I look at 247 in house rankings and then Rivals

Also by any chance do you know how man stars Tyrann Mathieu was?

good for rivals. No one goes by that. It's 247 composite

If Rivals had him listed as a 2 star then it is a 100% factual statement that he was evaluated as a 2 star player. I'm not so sure what's so hard to understand about that.

Like TM7 was a 2 star

He was actually a 4 star

Whatever TM7 was rated, nobody wanted him coming out of high school. Not one major power five school wanted until LSU offered him. He just had a few small offers before that.
