Why can't we just hire Vandys baseball coach?

Why would he leave Vandy? He didnt accept our offer last time we were looking for a coach and he hs built vandy into what lsu used to be, and they have built in schlorship advantages. So tell me why he would leave

Why would he come here? He’s built a bigger and better power at Vandy. Has built in recruiting advantages and doesn’t live in a crime-ridden community.

Lsu fans have an extremely inflated view of the program.
Gees why would Vandys coach leave his cushy job there to come here?
Just like the football search, fans will be extremely disappointed when a new hire is made because LSU won't be able to call its shot and just cherry pick any coach from any team.
Time for Manairi to go but he isn't getting replaced with vandys coach, Florida's coach or any other successful coach at any of the big schools.

Baton Rouge is going to hurt LSU when it comes time to recruit coaches. It’s a shite hole. And LSU isn’t the program it was 20 years ago. See Miami in football. Or Nebraska.

No, just some of the "fans" look at LSU's score and record, and are completely oblivious to everything else going on in college baseball. These are the same people that constantly name Canny and Blake Dean as the people who should be the next head coach at LSU. It's just because they don't know anybody else.

These threads are crazy. Paul isn't getting fired. He will resign/retire before that happens. And, the next baseball coach will not be a current head in the SEC or any other top program. We'll likely hire a young up and comer, a non-head coach from another top program, or a pro guy. Close to 0% chance that we would get Corbin. We'll all hate it, but Nolan Cain will get a hard look at taking over.

Coaches care about money, facilities, and the ability to recruit. LSU has all three, the big question is if you can get a coach making a couple million to leave a spot where he is comfortable to come to LSU.
