Then why isn’t their football any better?

Because every football team has the same amount of scholarships.

LSU can, but for some reason CPM can't recruit to save his life. The ones he does get on campus end up with injuries or get fricked up with all of the mental gymnastics CPM plays with them. frick CPM, he needs to go, and the sooner the better.

you obviously have no idea what you're talking about

Also there are not many football players that have a 4.3 GPA and have parents that truly care enough about education to have them go to an academic school.

LSU finds a way to give all of our sports money. Not an excuse. Know some fricks on the non revenue teams and you will understand.

We don't have 1 pitcher like the freshman from gandy that pitched tonight. Name me 1 pitcher we can count on like that? We don't have 1. Hess used to be our best pitCher, now he's unreliable. Our starters are a joke. Our bullpen is erratic at best, we have no closer. Our staff is pieced together week to week bc of the injuries we have and bc Paul is an idiot. So, to answer the ops question...the reason we don't have a pitcher like the guy from vandy tonight is obvious. CPM and Alan Dunn are fools and ruin our pitching staff. It's been the same shite all season, so why would we expect anything to change in this series? Paul pulls pitchers before their done, leaves othera in too long, and he replaces them with pitchers that haven't done shite all year long. We have a bunch of pitchers that aren't sec caliber, more like southland conference quality pitchers. It's been a huge disapointment this season. CPM has mismanaged this team from the jump and it's hurting us now, just when we happen to be playing for our season tomorrow. CPM has to go. He will get 1 more year, but that's just it. Over $1 million a season to coach baseball at fricking lsu and this is what he puts on the field? Underachieving is an understatement describing this year's team, and its all CPM's fault. Geaux Tigers, screw CPM.

is this the first time you have watched college baseball all year?

Our bullpen has been pitching great for the past few weekends but because of 1 game they all of a sudden suck and we have no one who can pitch?

Marceaux.

Hess has for the most part in his career been sporadic. When he's on he's the best guy on the team. He was that way as a freshman he just got hot in the cws.

Henry (when healthy) has been fantastic, marceaux has been lights put the past month and Walker has the experience and can give you a solid 4 or 5 innings every outing. I'd say that's pretty solid.

Have you not been watching the past month? The bullpen has been great. Just had a rough day today.

How are injuries Paul's fault? What a bs statement from someone who doesnt know shite.

The rest of your post is literally too stupid to even respond to.

Rocker has been inconsistent all year, goes out and pitches the game of a lifetime, then this jabroni acts like he’s a guaranteed win every time he goes out there.

The dude is responsible for 5 of Vandy’s 10 losses going in to the SR.

Vandy has the same scholarship limitations as every other SEC program. Vandy might be giving more academic not athletic scholarship money. I doubt it. Great school great program great town. Nashville is a lot better city than any other location in the SEC. what ever.

Vanderbilt offers need-based scholarships/grants/gifts (whatever they want to call it) to every single student, including athletes.

LSU does recruit and get those types of pitchers, but for whatever reason Maneiri and Dunn find ways in the fall to injure them

Vanderbilt COA is $60,769/yr.
LSU is $23,522/yr in state, $40,199/yr out of state.

Vandy wouldn’t have a chance in minor sports without academic scholarships.

That said, the loophole they use is available to LSU. Create an academic scholarship fund for baseball and LSU fans will have every kid Nolan Cain wants on full ride.
