Because we fired the winningest coach of all time for not winning 9-10. That's why I expect it. I hold these “one of us” and “give him a chance” morons accountable too

Only morons would accept anything less, but LA has more than its share of morons.

Do you think their fans were expecting 10 wins or saying “10 wins or bust”, etc?

How many preseason #25s win 10 games?

Well that would depend on why a team was ranked 25!

Is it talent and experience of players?

Or the amount of confidence in HC?

If the latter O cannot use the fact that writers have no or little confidence in him as an excuse to not win.

any of them fire a championship winning NC who won 9-10 games 9 out of the last 11 years?

Do you know Les never won less than 10 games with an upperclassmen QB?

We are LSU we should expect to win 9-10 games because that’s what we’ve done for 15 years.

Also Wisky went 10-3 in 2015, I am Sure a lot of them would have been disappointed with 9 wins.

Why do you put so much stock into preseason polls?

They are never accurate and shouldn't be allowed.

Lsu actually is rebuilding the offense in almost every phase.

Explain

LSU isn't going Spread option or Texas Tech offense. So no, they aren't Rebuilding the offense in almost every phase.

Didn't 2010 Auburn start the season ranked in the 20s?

371 posts in just over 5 full days. Damn near 75 posts per day. You're on fire Kristy.

And for what it's worth, I don't expect this years team to win more than 8 games. I believe the talent is there, but I don't believe o is capable of guiding this team to anything over 8 wins.

And anything under 10 wins is a complete failure and a wasted season.

Absolutely, it was more of a problem in the past with teams getting credit when losing because of a preseason poll. What I mean by credit is the team not falling as far.

Because they won 8 games last year with a shittier qb, no depth at OL/DL. So shut the frick up and stop being a pussy and get behind the team.

Preseason #25 since 2010 5 of 8 teams improved their ranking and had 9 or more wins. 2 had 10. Seems like 9 or 10 wins is a reasonable expectation.

2010 West Virginia finished 9-4 #22 9 regular season wins

2011 USC Finished 10-2 #6 10 regular season wins. Post season ban or probably 11 wins overall

2012 Louisville 11-2 #13 10 regular season wins

2013 Oregon State 7-6 unranked 6 Regular season wins

2014 Washington 8-5 Unranked 8 Regular Season wins

2015 Tennessee 9-4 #22 8 Regular Season wins

2016 Florida 9-4 #13 8 Regular Season wins

2017 Tennessee 4-8 Unranked 4 Regular season wins
