It doesnt matter that we're #25. We're 0-0 right now just like #1 Bama.

Nobody honestly knows what’s going to happen. Hardest team to make a prediction in on in sometime.

Is the offense going to be better? Maybe
Defense is going to be as good if not better than it has been
You still have the same head coach

We’ll just have to see.

Because preseason rankings are like assholes. Everyone has one.

Like I said,

Not all teams live up to expectations. That happens.

Should we lower them for bad teams?

I think A reasonable prediction is something less, sure. But that how expectations work.

It is sad. But this year it is unrealistic to expect 10 wins.

Using that fact get rid of Orgeron is effective, but it's not fair for this season.

Because it's out of everybody hands, including the team. You act like we asked to be ranked #25.

A bunch of writers come together and GUESS where they believe each team should be.

A few short years ago we were being told on this site to quit talking about 10 wins seasons because in the day and age of 12 game regular seasons they meant nothing, and unless they brought home hardware it didn't matter anyway.

Today? 10 win seasons are crazy talk for fans with unrealistic expectations.

Honestly...kudos to the AD and staff...they have successfully moved the goal posts far more and much faster than I could have imagined.

I thought the critics didn't know what they were talking about. What do their rankings matter?

Well for one, no one really knows what to expect.. more than ever.. given the offensive situation. It's a mystery, so it's natural to have some belief based off the talent and defense we have to believe we can win 9-10 games. We have much better depth defensively.

I really don't know what to truly expect, but I always expect 9-10 wins from LSU, because it's often what they do for the past decade.

Bc I will always “expect” LSU to be a 10 win team. Saban and miles created these program expectations and O’s media propaganda and shrimp boat relatives are knocking it down.

So...it's the universe's fault the team is thought of as merely the #25 ranked program today?

It will never, ever, ever be Orgeron's responsibility...for anything.

Again, I agree preseason rankings are garbage but how many teams have started the year ranked #25 and won 10 games?

Recently only team I can think of is TCU from a couple years ago but TCU plays in a shite conference

Because we fired the winningest coach of all time for not winning 9-10. That's why I expect it. I hold these “one of us” and “give him a chance” morons accountable too

Because we have Orgeron and the best OC in the country. Combined with all the tremendous offseason moves and the greatest defense since sliced bread.
