I think it’ll end up being Brennan. The things I worry about with Brennan are 3rd down and red zone efficiency and mobility. If Brennan does go down or get passed over by Nuss, I think we’re in for a rough year, though Nuss is more mobile. Hopefully our line will be better early on this year than they were early last year.

Or Walker Howard could come in and blow everybody’s socks off. Who knows. It’s baseball and basketball season baw.

Nuss was not very impressive last season. He has a long ways to go.

Well, Brennan didn’t come back to LSU just to sit the bench. Pretty sure Kelly assured him the starting job so he’d come back or else Brennan wouldn’t have even considered returning.

If JT Daniels transfers here or some other qb in the portal and pushes Brennan to be better or takes the job from him, so be it. I want us back in the playoffs. Keep in mind I am a huge Brennan fan. Have been since his valiant effort as a true freshman to mount a comeback against Troy. I knew then he had all the tools. I’d love to see it all come to fruition.

It's obviously going to be Brennan. He didn't come back to sit on the bench for his final collegiate season. Nuss is #2 while Howard redshirts.

Sources have been telling me it will be whichever QB Brian Kelly believes is better than the others.
