He shouldn't have been your first choice

You seem to hate lsu success under miles. Sorry that being an elite program disappoints you so much.

Honestly have to say I wouldn't trade Miles for anyone.
The national media loves him, everyone in CFB loves him, every program would grab him as their head coach in a heartbeat if they were in need of a coach. His players respond to him, he's a beastly recruiter, and he wants to be here.

one day miles will retire or move on. i can't wait for the whiners to start ripping the new guy a new a-hole and comparing him to miles. i almost hope he is a great public speaker with a "creative" offense (not my term; i learned about it by reading here) but, like so many of these guys can't beat the teams with great defenses. i said almost.

Because I said that miles shouldn't have been our first choice, that means I hate the success under him? You don't know what you're talking about........get the frick off of me

Its hard to say. Miles has cost us a NC but he also wins 80% of his games. I'd say, of current coaches:
Saban
Meyer
Miles
Patterson

Meyer
Miles
Patterson

Jim Harbaugh
Nick Saban

Surprised how much love Les is getting. One day I'll go back to the 2008-2010 threads and see who loved Les back then.
I like Les a lot, but I'd trade him for:
Saban
Patterson
Harbaugh
Others who would be good:
Urban
Pete Carrol
Tressel
Anyone who wouldn't want Saban is lying to themself

Mine would have to be Jim Harbaugh! Dude is intense and has been successful at every stop. You can tell his players respond well to him and he gets the most out of them.
Les Miles. Look you cant say a coach we have no shot at getting. You think a successful nfl coach is just going to leave and go to college for prob les money?
Les was and still is the best hire for where we were at and who was available. I dont care that petrino is a good coach, which we waxed his best team, cus hes a shitty person and arkansas is actually worse off now because of his actions.
Whats so good about patterson? Have you seen the scores if the losses? No defense what so ever. Hes supposed to be a defensive genious but yet his teams have been scored on in bunches. You guys talk about discipline, his team was running a drug ring. frick that.
Here are my top 3 coaches, Saban, Miles, Peterson. Urban is close, but he left UF and would have left LSU. So in my mind he wouldnt have been a better hire if we have to go coach searching every five years.
