Not a sexy choice, but I think it will be Joe Evans.

I've got high hopes for Guillory to make a big impact.

No shot. He might be an impact player the following year, but Joe Evens, Roy, Farrell and Logan are all ahead of him in the interior, and Maason Smith is presumed to be.

Roy

This was my pick. He was unblockable in the Spring game

I say McGlothern or Roy. Jay Ward is another good answer.

Are we considering Boutte already broken out?

If not, its him. This is nothing new but he is next up at LSU at WR.

Finally breaking out on his 6th year with the team.

Better late than never. Many guys would have transferred by now.

just reading the thread, i dont think Stingley, Gaye, Jay Ward, or Andre Anthony can "break out" considering i think they already have at some point in their careers.

Roy in his limited playing time last year, arguably looked like the best DL on the team. For a guy that is going to come into more snaps, he is the best answer, imo.

On offense, Koy Moore.

Roy looked like the best dL last year

I’ve seen you post this a few times and it simply isn’t true. I’m excited for Roy this year and he looks to be a real stud but last year he really played before he was ready. The first few games he was in he was blown 10 yards off the ball nearly all of his snaps and towards the end of the year he looked alright but like a freshman. Neil f has been our best DL for the past 2 seasons Imo.

But I’m excited for so many people on this defense but if I had to pick it would be Ward and mgloth.

Roy lead all DT's last year in Sacks and TFL. The same guys are coming back. He was a beast the 2nd half of the year, getting push and disrupting plays. Put on the Bama & Florida tapes to start

They have got to find a way to get him on the field. I assume it will be at nickel.

I don't see him playing nickel.
I think he will be the 3rd outside corner.

Jay ward is my break out player

I think we're deep enough on DL where it's going to be tough for any one lineman to really stand out

Which is a very good problem to have

Ward looked good in coverage at safety

I think overall the defensive unit will be much improved, lead by a very good defensive front rotation.
