Outfield play has been outstanding
Infield play, and pitching have been horrible. It’s way too inconsistent from getting the game and too many errors.
So who will be back?

Unfortunately, none of those guys.

Yea…. Lots of these guys…..

More seriously.
Keys coming back- ruckert, Braun, Serna and arrambide- (Im hoping we can keep both catchers)
Pitchers- the entire starting rotation SHOULD be back- along with a lot of talented bullpen guys- could have the best staff in the country, or the could fall flat on their faces again….

we have the arms to compete next year if they develop .our pitchers are leading the nation in strikeouts they just need work on control . they need to add some guys from the portal and recruiting juco and high school and we will be fine next year with that part of the game

We need our catcher to spend the whole summer at a blocking camp, especially Arrambide.

Pitching should be much better. Hitting wise we need a full revamp. Bring back Serna and Arrambide

Jake Brown's fielding is average.

Catcher/1B/DH - Serna, Arambide
Infield - Ruckert, Pearson, Clauss
Outfield - Patrick, Braun, Harden

SP - Evans, Schmidt, Paz
RP - Rizy, Plog, Lachenmayer, Theophilus, Aase

These are the ones can come back and hopefully will. There are a few others that are Juniors who could come back like Yamin or Moore if he gets a medical red shirt. Obviously some will leave for the portal and some will be processed.

One catcher has 5 PB and 4 errors in 322 total chances.

The other has 6 PB and 5 errors in 240 chances.

There is no especially here, and if there were, you would have the wrong guy.

Moore is a junior; he can come back regardless of redshirt status. He will lose leverage, though. Jay did mention they would seek a redshirt for Moore. If he gets the redshirt, he would maintain leverage, and I would expect him back.

I realize he's a junior. I listed him after saying "There are a few others that are Juniors who could come back"

Reaves is a 5th year senior, he won’t be back

Yeah, I thought that was probably what you meant, but I wasn't sure since you added the "if he gets a redshirt". I was more pointing out to the peanut gallery why the redshirt is important for a prospect like Moore.

I agree. I don't know that he would come back without the redshirt. I'm not sure where he is projected to go in the draft. I think Yamin and Reaves could come back as juniors. I've heard Yamin may actually want to come back.

Edit: Reaves is apparently listed as a 5th year senior.

Adam had him listed as RS Junior. LSU has him as a 5th year senior. My bad. Fixed.

Reaves probably needs to go elsewhere if he wants to start. I think Yamin may figure this is the end of his baseball career, and he'd like to finish up with the team he got a ring with and hope for a second.

ETA: just saw Reaves is a 5th-year senior.
