No, we only have 1 1/2 pitchers. Not enough reliable starters and a weak bullpen doesn’t add up to a trip to Omaha.

Don't know yet. I think LSU lets off the gas on the last day of the series. I don't think they don that in postseason. We will see

I don't have a ton of confidence. I'm not into predictions, and I'm not going to bother with one now. I just don't feel great about the way the team is playing.
People keep saying "Other teams have issues, too". Yeah, and those teams are either not going anywhere, or they are finding a way through it. The difference is LSU is finding ways to lose, instead of ways to win, down the stretch here. You need to be at the top of your game right now, and we're far from it.
They could turn it on, and hopefully they will. But since you're asking the question today, I don't currently get the Omaha feeling with this team.

This is an Omaha team. Game 3 of a regional and super may be dicey, but we can get through it. If we go to a game 4 of a regional, we might have to score 30...but we probably can.

The Regional we should be able to bang our way through regardless.
The super we need to win the first two games! Pitch everybody, every matchup, leave it all in the field for the first two. We will absolutely struggle to win a game three in the super.

frick yeah we will. I know people dont want to hear this but Jay with all this talent has been tinkering until the very end. He will put who he thinks is best for the postseason and the chips will fall where they may.

You never know in sports (especially baseball), but I think they’ve still got just as much of a chance as they had in the beginning of the season when everyone had them #1.
