There may have been some opportunities. If BK brings in another runner, we will know that 13 will never play at LSU.

We will be worse, we won't have the offense to carry us

No the problem is player development when you have a highschool coach, coaching defensive backs and a Dline coach that missed a season due to illness but wasn’t correctly replaced before the season started. Is it any wonder Mason Smith has not improved? We took transfers that were in state players that never had offers from D1 schools or not from LSU. It doesn’t matter how great the game plan is if the players can’t execute. This looks no different than the failure of hiring quality coaches during O after 2019.

I stand by it, Lester as that was what he was doing at that time. His turn around, however welcomed, was unexpected, but I am sure you knew better. Glad to see you are researching my posts. Keep it up,

I feel like next year is 9-3 or 8-4 depending on strength of SEC. I think two years is the year we need to cash in on. Nuss will be a 5th year senior and two recruited classes to fix defense.

We will see. Again, I haven’t seen anything that makes me think that Nuss is a can’t miss guy. However, I think that BK should have been playing him more often. It would allow for more game experience, and would have minimized the pounding that JD has been subjected to.

Again, just my .02.

At least you stand by your stupidity. I guess that’s something.

yup changes nothing about his poor YPA and intermediate % and sack rate last year from holding ball too long and poor downfield game. facts are facts and they were laid out ad nauseum. some cannot handle that.

Again, his performance supported all the criticism. He is having a great year. Too bad there is NO defense. If you want to defend his poor play last year, have at it.

So according to Lester the Earl, because he is playing way better this year, JD5 played really well last year. He is a 5th year STARTER. How many of those are there in CFB? I suspect it is the exception. He gets all the credit for learning the position, but he needed five years as a STARTER to do so. I hate it that Kelly has given him 0 defensive help.
