As others have said, Wisconsin.
They also played St Mary’s school for the blind and blew them out. Solid win.

They beat the frick out of Cincy and Wisconsin, two good football teams.
Chase young may be the best defensive college football player in 10 years. They have All Americans at every level of their defense.
They have playmakers all over the place on offense. JK Dobbins is a threat to take it to the house every time he gets a touch.
That is a very disgusting football team.

They poured on the style points.
Style points count. Don't kid yourself.

Ohio State has a higher ranked SOS than LSU
People are hating on the committee for “not using strength of schedule” and other non biased metrics, when in fact that’s exactly what they did

Texas hurt us in the crappiest ranking system, but helped the Tigers as a team. If it's always easy what do you learn?

The point is they destroyed every one they’ve played in like fashion. Even in some of our games against weaker opponents (Vandy) you can see weaknesses on our team. Ohio St hasn’t shown a weakness,..yet.
It’s really not that hard to see this.
Win or lose this weekend, none of this will matter after Saturday.

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted. If crushing Wisconsin doesn’t mean anything then our close wins over Texas and Auburn mean less. I don’t know why our fans can’t understand this.

OSU is a nightmare
should they be ranked #1 right now
yes
We beat Bama we are locked into #1

This is not that hard. We have a much better resume but OSU looks much better, maybe not on O, but at least defensively.
This does make the Committee look disingenuous though when it comes to their criteria.

They drop in the rankings. But good teams continue to win. They dont lose 2 more. One being to an unranked team.
So Wisconsin losing to an awful unranked Illinois team doesn't count, but it does count when Ohio st beats them? Makes sense..... Wisconsin will lose another game.

Go look at the schedules of Cincy, Wisconsin, MSU, Indiana, etc. The best quality win you can find outside of the Big 10 is Cincy against UCF and Cincy isn't a Big 10 team. Go try to find a quality Big 10 win against someone in a Power 5? Iowa against Iowa St. is about the best you can find. Michigan over ND doesn't count since ND doesn't have a conference. Everyone rails on the Big 12, but it's really the Big 10 that's a joke.

This. You want LSU to be media darling, the offense needs to get back to performances like Vandy/Florida and less like Auburn. I think people believe LSU is running out of gas and Ohio State is now the new IT girl.

Who Cares....
All you peeps are putting WAY TOO MUCH INTO THIS THAN NEEDED
Beat Bama, then Beat the rest of your opponents
Then Win a National Championship
Would you rather be ranked #1 "NOW" or ranked #1 when it matters!!!!

actually, Northwestern State was on our schedule, not their’s.
but they did to Wisconsin roughly what we did to Utah State.
Wisconsin may not be a national Champ level team, but they sure as hell better than Utah State

but I think we all know Texas is way better than Cincy.
Texas is definitely not "way better" than Cincy. Texas is a team giving up over 30ppg and just lost to 4-4 TCU. Let's pump the brakes on hailing Texas as some really good team.

well if you look at our 3 best wins
Auburn 7-2
Fl 7-2
Texas 5-3
19-7
OSU best wins
Indiana 7-2
Wisconsin 6-2
cincy 7-1
19-5
Their schedule isnt as bad as we think and they have blown those teams out..could argue though Fl only losses are to LSU/GA and auburns LSU/FL and out of all those teams auburn has the only win over a top 10 team
I think its right but what it shows me is that the loser of saturday will be left out
