Tre Morgan. If you can play SS usually you are fine at 2b

My best guess is Riley Cooper

Nippolt is the likely play but Guidry is frontrunner right now for SS next year and needs playing time. Guidry needs to do some Austin Bain stuff.

Most likely nippolt.. real question is who leads off.. will this force tre into the spot, idk.. tough decision considering Dugas really locked down that spot.

Please no. I don’t see why Nippolt wouldn’t start while Dugas is out

Honestly if Jobert can be good at 3rd I wouldn't mind seeing him try to play 2nd in a midweek game. But not against Kentucky who hits the ball on the ground and plays small ball in a weekend series. If Dugas is out for significant time I wouldn't mind seeing the experiment with Jobert at 2nd. But Jay did say the trainer didn't think Dugas's injury was a big deal. Hopefully that means he won't be out of the lineup for long.

Agreed with that too but we may really need Guidry’s arm to close out one of the next 2 and win the series.
With the pitching injuries too, they may pivot him towards that the rest of the year. Kid could be a gem with all these fricking injuries, his versatility could be more valuable than ever.

Not sure why you say this when Nippolt has been the first infielder off the bench all year.

I think Nippolt has the inside track to be the shortstop next year. Doesn’t mean someone can’t take it from him tho.

I like where your heads at. This is thinking outside of the box.
