Give me some names of some "developed" arms that are better now than they were touted incoming please
I mean, Ty Floyd is a completely different pitcher than he was the last two years. He's always had the physical tools, but he looks like a legit prospect now.
Gavin Guidry came in as a middle infielder and a guy that might get some innings on the mound. He ended the season closing out game 3 of the CWS.
Thatcher Hurd couldn't get outs against mid week teams at the beginning of the year. He looked better than most Friday night guys in the SEC the last 4 weeks.
And that's just on this years team.

Thats not what I asked; those are all top rounders coming here.

There is no point in engaging with that guy. He will keep moving the goal posts or ignoring what doesn't fit his narrative.
Not only is he an idiot, he's dishonest.

You do realize that the MLB, possibly more than any other sport, drafts based on potential, particularly with pitchers, correct? Those guys all have the physical tools, but that doesn't mean you can just hand them a ball and tell them to go get outs in the SEC.

so skenes gaining 7-8+ mph this year is not development?
Johnson was onyl here for 1 year and every single pitcher improved
frankly i could give you 100 reasons why and how development happens at this level. hell it happens at the minor league and even major league level. its why some orgs are so good all the time.

Skenes velo gain comes from leaving Air Force and being able to focus solely on strength pitching, nutrition, and not spending 12 hours a day in military academics. He was able to become a beast that had one job.
He didnt have other priorities at LSU, except win now and make money.
You lost your credibility at minor leauges statement. Clubs draft their top picks and invest in those picks. Other picks are chosen because they decent enough to fill roster on minor league teams and offer competition strong enough to help investment picks progress.
GA should have the best staff in sec next year then. We shall see.

There's no development at this high of a level; development is for juco etc.
That's not what Paul Skenes said. Go listen to an interview with him.

Oh, so what you are saying, is that Skenes came to LSU and was able to DEVELOP as a pitcher. Very interesting.

Well, since it's not the job of a pitching coach to develop pitchers I would like to throw my hat in the ring, for a fraction of the cost.

I'm guessing we will hear Nate Yeskie's name thrown around a lot before a hire is made.
Why didn't he come here two years ago with JJ?

I'd prefer to bring in a successful MLB guy that is looking for a little less stress in his job, a nice salary, and a want to prepare kids for the big leagues.
