I was objective sunday morning. Our defense absolutely sucks but there isn't another offense that is as scary as OM so you have to think they will perform better. We will be favored to win every game except for Bama. Bamas weakness is offense.

With no defense? I say we can’t.

Will not. 8-4 coming and a shite bowl victory. Maybe, if everyone "COMPLETES THE PROCESS" 9-4

That might make me feel better if we didn’t already lose two games in which we were favored and only win another that we were favored by 17 with a last second field goal. You spouting off a spread for a game on November 25th means nothing

We cannot cover and we cannot tackle effectively especially on crucial third downs. Those two things will probably cause us to lose more games.

I agree with those who say our O allows us to beat anyone we play, but our D allows us to lose to anyone we play.

I think we'll finish 9-3, beat either the Ags or Bama but not both, and play in some Fla bowl where we will win.

We desperately need more talent at DB and better line play on D.

Well the key is to only have two losses. That means getting over Mizzou, TAMu, Georgia, and then two Top 4 teams.

Could it happen? Sure, 2007 is a great example. Is it likely to happen? Doubtful based on the product we have seen. Offense can probably get it done, but defense needs to turn around yesterday.

Right now I’d be ecstatic if we finish with only 2 losses. Even if left out of the playoff

I don’t think the Auburn game is going to be an easy win just like this weekend at Columbia.

A lot of people think that Alabama is the only tough game left on the schedule.

This board is honestly hilarious. Saturday night, 7-5 to 8-4. Tuesday at lunch, Natty incoming

Just yesterday people were saying we won’t another SEC game.

No there are people who are objective. But the lunatics on the 2 extremes drown them out.

This sounds like last weeks question.
We have a leg weary team, 2nd Road Game, traveling to Missouri, and they have a passing game equal to Ole Miss.
You talking play offs?

So a DLA is going to turn the team around, not the HC.

I mean the spreads against Ole Miss and FSU were -2 to -3 so nearly a pick em.

Just so I’m clear:

You think that bringing in Pete Jenkins, after what we all witnessed transpire Saturday night in Oxford, is going to turn this team in to a Natty contender? I think we can easily lose the rest of our SEC matchups with this defense. We aren’t going to get stops.

It’s like having a refrigerator at Defensive End. OP’s logic is ratfricked.

I don't think any sec games are easy wins. Auburn doesn't scare me offensively and it's at home. the same for Florida. Missouri I really haven't followed to know what their strengths are.

The funny thing is what if we had won 49-47 or 56-55 last weekend...our defense would still suck but our fans would be saying 11-1 or 10-2 at worst.
