Screw her. She cancelled a game vs. BYU under the pretense that BYU (a predominantly white school) was racist based upon a "racist episode" that was shown to be completely false and fabricated. In the process, she unapologetically and baselessly disparaged an entire university.

No I don't think so. 5 years ago she was about ready to win another national title at Baylor. She was still happy with her administration there. There was no reason to believe she would want to leave there.
Only around Covid-ish time did she become disenchanted with Baylor's leadership. We just got lucky that the timing was right.

It certainly didn't hurt that she spent several years on our campus watching her son play. I'm sure coming back to the area so often made her miss living down here.
